This is a place to think about nature in the North Clover Creek/Collins area of Parkland/Summit/Tacoma. though this neighborhood is close to Tacoma and Parkland it is still a very rural area with lots of open space. Much has been done to help clean the water as it moves toward Puget Sound and I hope that it continues.

Backyard Squirrel
This little guy really likes the sunflower seeds we put out for the birds. He keeps coming back regardless of how many times the dogs chase him away.

Red-breasted Sapsucker
This Red-breasted Sapsucker and it's partner (don't know if it is it's mate or not) stopped by our yard the other day to eat some suet. Hope they come back.

Walk To Waller Road
Took an enjoyable walk to Waller Road and 30th Ave East this morning. It lasted about an hour with a stop to take some pictures with my iphone. The air was cold but bearable. The traffic was light and the neighborhood quiet. There were a few ducks on the pond at Waller and 132nd.
